My friend and I went there on a Saturday morning and found a seat immediately and we quickly greeted and they took our drink order and then came back and took our order the food was in front of us pretty soon after we order and the food was EXCELLENT also its a great place to take anyone to eat its a very peaceful atmosphere and will definitely go there again

Great place to eat. Portion sizes are good depending on your order. Kind of expensive especially for the neighborhood.

The hash browns were pale white, the grits were cold. They were expensive...2 breskfast with water for the drinks over $21...one omelets and one corn beef hash breakfast. They were not busy and it took 45 minutes for food. The only thing good was the staff.

I enjoy going here! I'd rather be here than some of these other restaurants, plus the service is great and a quick response time with your food!

I really like the home country cooking but they offer.The staff is great the wait staff is always friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable and affordable, the food and drinks are always a good portion size.

Food is delicious, service with a smile, very fast and reasonable prices. The staff here makes you feel like you're a part of the family. The huge quesadilla I ordered was only $6.99, hot and fresh, salsa tasted like they make it in-house. Love this place!

Good food, good price.

Place needs an update, but food is fair, not the greatest but the service is good. They truly try and the biscuits are great. Waffles, yes, yes, yes, the rest . Well maybe cause its tough times. Overall, I wouldn't mind revisiting.

First time visiting today for breakfast and love it! Reminds me of being back home. Very cozy and friendly environment. Not too many choices but plenty enough for you to promptly decide what to eat. Waiters/waitresses are personal and friendly and it's all very inexpensive. We will be back! It's nice to have somewhere cozy and welcoming to go in Killeen. I recommend this place over IHops chain menus!

I almost left after using the restroom ..it was very dirty and I worried I may get sick. ... Only minus one star because ... My friend was hungry and recommended it so we stayed to see that the dining room was much better. The food was cooked perfect and was hot. My eggs were Over medium.. Great... And the waitress was very attentive and good at her job. . That was breakfast... I would put someone on those bathrooms... Door knobs and all.... Someone else may not Be so generous with stars. But I know myself how it can drag your ratings . Thanks.

Holy cow. First time here and wow. I had the meat lovers omlete and it was great. I was surprised at the size. It was half of the plate and it was not a small plate. The home fries were tasty but could have been a little more crispy but they were still delicious. My daughter had the chicken fried steak and it was the best chicken fried steak I think I have ever had. Sorry Dad. Definitely looking forward to going back. Maybe for dinner?

Great local restaurant, breakfast is served all day. Service is wonderful from everyone. Prices are very reasonable and fair. This is our go to breakfast spot. The whole family enjoys their menu. We had the pancake sandwich( like a Denny's grand slam) the veggie omelet and biscuits and gravy.

I eat here everyday for the past 10 years. The food is excellent and the service is the best. They make you feel at home. Best breakfast in town and the price speaks by itsself. Once you try this restaurant you will never go back to any other place again. That's why is full of third age people. They grew up smarter. Come see on you own. You will love it like we all do.

I didn't eat in, so I can't comment on the customer service. I ordered the chuck wagon with eggs over easy, hashbrowns and biscuit with a side of sausage gravy. The corned beef hash was from a can and was just warmed through. My eggs were cooked well, but not seasoned. Gravy was not homemade. Tasted like reconstituted powder.

Great food. Portions are a good size. Not like Denny's or IHOP's small portions. Service was awesome. I ordered the trashcan omelette and it was fantastic!

Okay....I've eatin here a hand full of times. Great family oriented restaurant. The second time going there they knew me by name which was cool because you feel like they know you. The plate portions were great for me because I can put away some food. But if you don't have a big appetite you might need a to go box. I like the catfish breakfast the best...

A small local diner-style restaurant, with plenty of dedicated parking. Has some unique quirks compared to most other greasy spoons, and it definitely feels better to support a small local business over a franchised diner. The atmosphere is warm and rustic - with pretty fair prices and great breakfast food! Try the biscuits and gravy!

0 stars if possible. No one greeted me as I walked in, but 5 minutes later the waitress took time to stop dancing and greet a crew of older white men. Whatever. The waitresses never took my order instead they danced around and played on the phone. I guess that’s why they get paid big bucks. We left and took our business elsewhere. 12/4/201911:57am

I usually like this place for breakfast. But this last visit, my husband and I were disappointed. I don't know if they got a new cook or new owners? The food was sub par for the price.
